trying to keep it clean

Untitled
The Kitchen After
i have been trying to keep the communal parts of the house clean.it's been a struggle since the baby. not blaming her, just love to be with her and the other kids. she's kind of amazing. anyway, back to the house cleaning business. the past few days i have been taking pictures and posting them to the blogs Facebook page. it's sort of an accountability, for me.

i am also trying to keep my mouth clean. i don't know what in the world came over me, but my language was getting pretty foul. maybe it was watching a rereun of Real Housewives of New Jersey. i really don't know. slowly, but surely i am cleaning it up.

Jimmy has been on a wild goose chase to get a copy of his Baptismal records. So far, we have a copy of his First Holy Communion records. It came with a letter about his Baptism. He is on his way to recieving communion. WOOP!

Secrets From the Bedroom: Dirty Little Tales

I have a dirty little secret, my bedroom looks like an episode of Hoarders. Well, minus mold, bugs and animal things. I am trying to get it back in some order and maybe finish find thing the floor. Bedroom
I started earlier today with this little area/corner. It took wuite awhile. I had to feed the baby, change diapers, go to the store and other crazy things. But, I finished it.

Bedroom

I like to think it's an organized mess. I was a messy pack rat of a child. When things got out of hand, my mom would swoop in when I was at work and throw away stuff. THROW AWAY PERFECTLY GOOD THINGS!! Now, I go through things and donate or give away the good stuff. I really despise throwing things away and obviously putting them away. Be warned, these pictures are not for the faint of heart. I am not doing a room makeover just yet. Just cleaning and organizing right now.

  Bedroom

Yes, honey that is a crinoline skirt and some plastic Easter eggs.

Thrift shopping Magic fills my closet! See that loverly silk skirt...be jealous

I will not take credit for all those chords and wires.

The baby is happy, the bed is made...hey it's something. SHAMEFUL!!! You can make up your own not so cute fairytales about this room. Hey, at least I am honest and I am trying. Go ahead and laugh.

Join me and share your dirty bedroom secrets, add blog links in comment! I know I am not the only momma with a SHAMEFUL bedroom.

Obstacles

Untitled

Today was in no way as productive as yesterday. However the living room is clean. Hezzie has speech, his dad took him since he missed work today. I watched videos on river dolphins with Maggie and read some books with a couple of the kids. Hezzie is loving this dragon book we got from the library. The pictures have texture, I like that in a book as well.

I was texted by someone I had attended meetings with and she upset me greatly. She said some unkind words to me, that had me wondering how long...long time drunks stay selfish or if AA brainwashes people. Apparently, working on yourself to this women means she can not see past her Big Book and into real life.

Our plumbing has gone crazy. We have to wait until morning for someone to come out and see what is going wrong with it. The joys, this sent Jimmy over the edge and every flaw in my character was attacked. I think he needs stress management. I know I am not the best at anything I do, and maybe one day something I do will be great....it's just not now. I hate when bumps in the road cause so much damage.

Joaquin has been asking for sushi and keeps reading the Yoko book I mentioned yesterday. The little girl in it has sushi. He started a book on asteroids today.

Hope tomorrow is much better.
Love,
Momma
